Electrolysis
In February of 2015, Roger Palmer gave a presentation at RVYC entitled "Electricity, Electrolysis, and Galvanic Corrosion".  The Main Lounge was packed for the event, as this proved to be a popular topic!  A comprehensive (43 pages) set of notes were published to accompany the lecture, but no video was made at the time.  Roger has now re-created the lecture (without a live audience), and posted it to YouTube.  The notes are still available, and the video includes information on how to download them.  Here is the video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6Ge7_RTtJg&feature=youtu.be

The Mini-12 fleet often has a lunch-time speaker before they go out racing on Saturdays.  A few years ago, Roger Palmer was invited to give a series of 4 presentations on various aspects of sailboat racing. This material has been captured and posted to YouTube in the form of four videos. Links are given below:
Sailboat Racing (What makes a sailboat go) - Part 1
This is the first video of a 4 part series on sailboat racing. It is based on a series of lunch-time presentations made at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club to the Mini-12 fleet.

Sail Trim (Going fast) - Part 2
This is the second video of a four part series. It builds on the concepts developed in the first video, and focuses on Sail Trim. This series of lectures was presented to the Mini-12 racing fleet at Royal Victoria Yacht Club.

Tactics (Going the right way) - Part 3
This is the third of four videos covering the topic of Sailboat Racing. The video is based on a lunch time lecture I presented to the Mini-12 fleet at Royal Victoria Yacht Club in 2016. This video covers Wind Shifts and Tactics.

Rules Of Racing (Keeping out of trouble) - Part 4
This is the final video of a 4-part series on Sailboat Racing. The subject of this session is the Racing Rules Of Sailing. Unlike the first three presentations, this video is primarily composed of a recording which was made as I gave a lunch time talk to the Mini-12 fleet at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club
