How to Upload Images

IMPORTANT: Digital cameras usually produce high resolution images that are larger than the server can handle. It's very important that all photos are (a) 3MB or less in file size and (b) have heights and widths 2000 pixels or less. You can use any photo editor to re-size photos, or try one of these free online tools:

There are three ways to upload images to the RVYC site:

  1. Single image upload
  2. Multiple image upload via Flash
  3. Multiple image upload via Java

If you only have a few images to upload, use the single image upload method. To upload more images at a time, first try the Flash multiple upload option. If you don't have Flash installed, or run into problems, then try the Java version. The three short videos below demonstrate how each method works.

Single Image Uploads

Multiple Image Uploads via Flash

Tip: When browsing and selecting photos, you can hold CTRL on a PC or Command on a Mac to select more than one at a time.

Tip: When browsing and selecting photos, you can hold CTRL on a PC or Command on a Mac to select more than one at a time.

Note: The first time you use the Java method, you will likely receive the following security warning. Simply check both checkboxes and click "Run" - you shouldn't receive the warning again on subsequent visits to the site. java-warning
