The event was video-recorded, and is now available for viewing  at: https://youtu.be/LRQfRjjKmSI

Our presenter this evening is Roger Palmer, who has belonged to RVYC for 25 years.

Roger has extensive boating experience: power, sail, racing, cruising, coastal, inland, and offshore.  He is an electronic engineer, and has worked at (or founded) several "high tech" companies.

Roger has been designing, using, or specifying marine electronics for almost 60 years, and he has monitored developments in the industry for much of its existence.

Tonight's presentation will follow Roger's involvement in the field from the late 50's, and will focus on equipment that he has installed and used on his various boats over the years up to the present day. He promises to include lots of personal opinions as he tells the story!
