Regular Year-Round Club Racing

The Royal Victoria Yacht Club has an active Club racing program throughout the year. A single registration covers these year-round events (see below).

	Keelboats Summer: The keelboat fleet races every Wednesday night May-August at 6:20 with a distance racing start and several around the buoys starts. Each month is a separate series. Winter: The keelboat fleet races on Sundays starting at 10am, alternating weeks between around the buoys and distance racing. There are three series: Fall (October-November), Winter (November - February) and Spring (February - April). See the racing calendar for specific dates. Trophy Races: Between September and March, there are several "Trophy Races": William Head Trophy (March) Lipton Cup (April) Thermopylae Cup (September) Whitehouse Trophy Race (September) Virtue Cup Race (October)
	Dinghies Summer: The dinghy fleet races with the Cadboro Bay Sailing Association on Tuesday nights. Winter: The dinghy fleet races on Saturdays, October - March, in the "Frostbite Series" with first start at 1pm. Check the racing calendar for specific dates.
	Mini 12s Winter: The Mini 12 fleet race at 1pm every Sunday, September through April.

The Club runs several major regattas each year, 2-3 for each fleet. For both the keelboat and dinghy fleets there is a spring and fall championship.
